Personal Reflection - Week 22 - 26/2

It is time to reflect on my learning today.

Today, positive gaining and accomplishment:

  • Prepare and submit/present in time 3 assignments: the competence map, the validity table and the research proposal.
  • Plan ahead from last night therefore I am able to start the day quickly and smoothly.
  • Carefully prepare slide when presentation. My aim is to start to show the team my diligence and effort, that I am trying to boost my attitude/motivation toward learning. This is different compared to semester 1 when I work and study at the same time.
  • My English spoken language is improved compared to previous presentations, it probably because I prepare the content more carefully.
  • Prepare the space/environment for learning and the things are obviously improved compared to previous days this week. I inform my roommate about the meeting time, I sit down on the floor, back to the wall to avoid too many details in the background. This way I am also able to take care to the cat when she needs. I also close the door to minimize the effect of noise.
  • Cook dinner.
However, there are still several things that I feel unsatisfied with:

  • I forgot the research plan deadline.
  • I choose the wrong type of paper to examine its validity.
  • I choose a too broad range of research interest.
I feel that I need to prepare things sooner, ask questions if I don't understand the lesson, ask for help whenever needed.

Remind me:

  • Don't worry. Good thing takes time.
  • The diligence, effort and try to improve one's self is much more important than intelligence.
  • The real work, authenticity is much more important than how it looks like.
